Mobile work specialist is first sales partner for Hybrid Access as a Service platform
German company beyond SSL, which specializes in solutions for secure mobile workplaces, will now offer Cloudbrink’s hybrid remote access platform in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This makes beyond SSL the Silicon Valley company’s first distribution partner in the region. The Hybrid Access as a Service (HAaaS) platform combines technologies such as high-performance zero trust network access (ZTNA), personal SD-WAN and moving target defense (MTD) for secure, high-performance access by mobile workers to cloud and data center applications.
As the number of mobile or home office workers continues to grow, IT managers face increasing challenges in terms of security, speed, and management of the necessary infrastructures. Conventional VPN architectures suffer from poor performance, users are forced to use different gateways to connect to the applications they need, and there is a lack of centralized management. In contrast, to ensure security and efficiency, a zero-trust architecture is required that guarantees fast connections and ease of use.
Cloudbrink’s secure access service is based on a software-only solution and uses dynamic points of presence (PoPs) to provide teleworkers with the same “in-office experience” as on-campus employees. The service promises up to 30 times faster application performance than conventional remote access architectures, while reducing network complexity, administrative overhead and increasing connection security. Cloudbrink’s service implements automated moving target defense (AMTD) security principles, which minimise the risk of a successful attack.
Since 2015, beyond SSL has focused on sales and service for ZTNA-based solutions from the areas of remote access and data security for mobile workplaces and DSGVO-compliant data exchange. The company works with renowned vendor manufacturers to provide minimal implementation effort and comprehensive service. beyond SSL now serves more than 1,700 customers worldwide.
“With Cloudbrink, we have found a partner that perfectly complements our solution portfolio,” said Siegried Plommer, managing director of beyond SSL. “Cloudbrink unites technologies such as ZTNA, SD-WAN or VPN in a single, software-based solution, thereby combining the highest security with the greatest possible performance. For example, users who depend on fluid and secure connections for their work, even with large data volumes and in problematic environments, benefit from a fast return on investment. To this end, we offer a comprehensive and flexible service during installation and ongoing operation.”
Prakash Mana, CEO and founder of Cloudbrink said: “Until now, IT departments have struggled to ensure the security of remote users and have had to deal with network issues that required a lot of human and financial resources. Our approach is to create the same work experience for employees wherever they are in the world as we do for colleagues on campus. beyond SSL, with its focus on remote work and strong service orientation, is a partner that fits perfectly with our philosophy. Our expansion into the DACH region couldn’t be in better hands.”
